Do they matter? Do coaches look?
The answer is - YES!!
Every coach is different, but they are looking for REPRESENTATIVES of THEIR School!
This often means that coaches want to see what YOU are all about!
Are your TikToks and Instagram posts and stories appropriate?
Do they have obscene language (yes this includes songs) or movements? Take it down!
Are you tagged in any inappropriate posts - untag yourself or asked to be untagged!
Avoid posts at parties that are not appropriate.
Remember you may be working with the youth and the community and your posts should reflect this standard. Coaches want athletes and dancers that are role models for both.
Is it necessary to have a separate dance and personal account?
No, coaches will dig and find "dance posts" or "material" if they want to see something!
CAN you have two separate? Sure! Just make sure that your personal is still clean and friendly.

I went to the combine in Girard last year!! Since then I've been recruited by The University of Michigan and The University of Cincinnati from the combine. This experience definitely helped me and I would like to share that putting yourself out there at combines and clinics will definitely help you get noticed. Wearing bright colors and showcasing skills that you are good at will definitely help!!
